Due to increased testing capacity nationwide, health care officials are advising COVID testing for anyone who wants it, whether they have had symptoms or not. If you have symptoms, it is important that you self quarantine until at least 10 days from the start of your illness or until you have had 3 consecutive days without fever; whichever is longer.
We are not able to perform testing at our office. See the link below for a complete list of test sites in our state. You can find locations that don't require any physician order and some sites offer testing times that do not require an appointment.
Testing at Howard County General Hospital and the MD VEIP locations still do require a physician order and are by appointment only. If you want to get tested at one of these sites, then send us a message, via the
patient portal, that contains your child's name, an email address, and a mobile phone number. We need this information to generate the order. You will then be contacted by the testing center via email or phone to schedule.
