Debra Lee
MD, FAAP
Dr. Debra Lee graduated summa cum laude from the University of Maryland honors program in 2001. From there, she enjoyed four years in Philadelphia at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. After medical school, she completed her residency training at Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Lee stayed there for an additional year as a chief resident, in charge of residents and medical student education, and participating in hospital-wide quality improvement projects, and attending on the pediatric floors, emergency department and continuity clinic.
After working as a hospitalist in Ann Arbor for two years, Dr. Lee returned to Howard County in 2011, where she began her career in outpatient, general pediatrics. She has worked in both an academic setting at The University of Maryland Medical Center as an Assistant Clinical Professor, as well as in private practice. Dr. Lee continues to participate in the education of pediatric residents from the University of Maryland, and enjoys teaching the next generation of pediatricians. She is board certified in Pediatrics and a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
A devoted Terps fan, Dr. Lee lives with her husband and three children in Ellicott City. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, being active in nature, and cheering on her children for their extracurricular activities.
