Krista Shanholtz
FNP

Krista graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from the University of Maryland in 2013. She then earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Rutgers University in 2016. Krista worked for several years as a RN in the operating room at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital and University of Virginia Medical Center. In 2020, she graduated from George Washington University with her Family Nurse Practitioner degree.  Since then, she has worked in the pediatric outpatient setting. Krista comes to us with solid experience in a busy private pediatric office, and we are excited to add her perspective and insights to our clinician group.

In her free time, Krista enjoys spending quality time with her husband and their young children. She is also an avid marathon runner, loves the beach, and enjoys trying new restaurants with her husband.
