The physicians at HocoPeds have reached their full capacity of patients at this time.  To best accommodate our current patients, we have decided to suspend accepting new patients to the practice.  We are only accepting newborns of families who are established patients.   We will continue to assess our schedules and hope to be able to accept new patients again in the future.

In addition, we will only be seeing patients under 19 years of age.  No new appointments will be made after February 28th, 2023 and we will honor all appointments already on the schedule through that time. Those of our patients who are 19 years and older will need to transition to an adult primary care doctor.  We will do all we can to help make this a smooth transition for you and your young adult child.  Below is a list of adult primary care providers who our physicians have referred to over the years.

We understand that these are big changes, and we thank you for your understanding!

Please see the FDA Information page providing information about the recently announced full recall of Ranitidine products. If your child is taking ranitidine, either over the counter or prescription, then please contact our office to obtain a prescription for an appropriate alternative.

This a precautionary measure from the FDA in order to reduce the risk of exposure to potentially toxic substances.  Other than changing to a different medication, there is no additional recommendation for screening, testing, or treatment.
