Dr. Patricia Liszewski received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Pittsburgh in 1987. She then served in the Navy Nurse Corps from 1987-1990 in San Diego, CA. She relocated to this area and graduated from the University of Maryland School of Medicine in Baltimore in 1996, and completed her residency in Pediatrics at the University of Maryland Medical System in 1999. She joined our practice in 1999. Dr Liszewski is board certified in Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is a member of the Department of Pediatrics at Howard County General Hospital. From 2008-2010, she took a 2 year leave of absence during an overseas tour with her family, but continued to practice Pediatrics at the Naval Hospital Naples, Italy and at the school based teen clinic.
Dr. Liszewski is active in the community and has a special interest in childhood obesity. Most notably, Dr. Liszewski serves on the Medical Advisory Board of the Columbia Association where she helped to develop the YouthFit program and the Baby and Me program, and is a member of the Fetal Infant Mortality Review Committee for Howard County Health Department. She has also contributed to the Ask the Pediatrician section of Maryland Family Magazine.
Dr. Liszewski lives in Olney, MD with her husband, three children, and three dogs. She enjoys swimming, running, and practicing yoga.
