Due to the current rates of hospitalization for COVID/Flu/RSV, the Maryland State Department of Health has recommended universal masking in ALL health care environments.
Therefore, in order to ensure the safety of both our staff and patients, we have reinstated universal masking protocols for all office encounters. This means that everyone, regardless of vaccination and symptom status, will be required to wear a mask while in our office.
It is clear that wearing masks can significantly reduce the spread of COVID-19, Flu, RSV, and other respiratory illnesses. As healthcare professionals, it is our responsibility to prioritize the health and well-being of our patients, staff, and community. By implementing universal masking protocols, we are taking optimal measures to prevent the spread of these illnesses.
Furthermore, we kindly request that you restrict the number of individuals accompanying you to only those whose presence is absolutely necessary.
We truly understand how these steps may make visits more challenging; however, face protection on all who enter our workspace will reduce the risk of spreading AND acquiring germs during your time in our office.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation and understanding.
